during your senior year that in the middle of all of the
hard work, the tests, the late night studying and early
mornings wakeups, you get a "time out". A time to be
pampered, to feel special, to dress up and have fun, to
laugh, and to be carefree.
This year will pass all too quickly and before you
know it you'll be moving on to something new. Most
likely moving away, heading off to college, and high
school will be far behind. A photo is a capture of a
moment in time, it's meant not just to show off your
best "you" to everyone you share it with (though we'll
certainly do that!), but above all it's meant as a gift to
yourself.

Once everything is complete, I'll personally reach out to walk you through the process, answer any questions, and begin planning a senior session that feels completely you.

Once your session is booked, the fun begins!

I'll send over my Senior Session Guide, filled with helpful information on everything from outfit ideas and styling tips to location inspiration and preparing for your session day. You'll also receive a questionnaire that helps me get to know you beyond your photos.
This questionnaire is one of the most important parts of my process. It gives me a glimpse into your personality, your interests, what you're drawn to, and what you envision for your senior portraits. No two seniors are alike, and I believe your session should reflect that.
I'll encourage you to send outfit ideas, inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, screenshots, and anything else that catches your eye. Not because I'm looking to recreate someone else's photos, but because it helps me understand the style, feeling, and overall vibe you're drawn to.
As your session approaches, we'll finalize outfits and locations together. I'll thoughtfully curate a session experience designed around you, your style, and the things that matter most to you.

By the time session day arrives, I'll have a personalized plan and inspiration board ready to go, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience. I'll also keep a close eye on the weather and lighting conditions to make sure we have the best possible skies and beautiful light for your session.

My goal is for your senior session to feel less like a photoshoot and more like an experience created specifically for you.

The day is finally here! Take a deep breath, relax, and get ready to have fun.

The good news? You don't need any modeling experience. In fact, most of the seniors you see on my website have never been in front of a professional camera before. I'll guide you through every step of the session with prompts, movement, and direction so you'll never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to look.
While I'll help create beautiful, natural portraits, some of my favorite images are the moments that happen in between—the genuine laughter, the confidence that starts to shine through, and the little moments that feel completely like you.
My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and truly enjoy the experience. If that means I have to be a little goofy, tell a few bad jokes, or make fun of myself along the way, I'm happy to do it!
If there are any specific photos, locations, activities, or ideas you'd love to incorporate, let me know before your session so we can plan for them together.
And parents, you're always welcome! In fact, I encourage it. Senior year is a milestone for you too, and I love having parents involved in the experience. Whether you're helping carry outfits, offering encouragement, or simply enjoying watching your senior shine, you're an important part of the day.
Before you know it, the nerves will be gone, you'll be having fun, and we'll be creating images that celebrate this incredible season of life.

A day or two after your session, I will send you a few
teasers just to get you more excited about the next
step....your gallery! Your online gallery will be ready
within a week of your session. I will send you a link to
your gallery that you can share with family and friends.
We'll then set up a time that we can meet together.
During your ordering session you will view all of your
edited and re-touched images as well as the different
prints and products that we can create with your
images. I will help walk you through the process and
collections as well as give you descriptions of products
and suggest what fits best for your session style. We can
work with a variety of budgets to accommodate and
make your session memorable. This is the perfect time
to purchase gifts to cherish for a lifetime!

Once we have finalized your print/product/digital
image order and all payments have been made I will
order and then deliver your products. This is my
absolute favorite part of the entire client experience
process. Delivery days are like getting to see all your
beautiful gifts unwrapped and in your hands. I love
watching families flip through photo books and get
excited about their customized frames. Something
about holding your own photos in tangible form
truly makes my heart happy

First of all, thank you for considering me for your child's senior portrait casual session. This is going to be a whirlwind of a year! I've had two daughters graduate from high school so I know firsthand how fast this year will fly by.
