I know, I know, this is where I'm supposed to say that I've loved photography since I was a little girl (and yep-guilty. I totally did.)
I'm also supposed to tell you that I LOVE capturing the moments you'll treasure forever. True - very high on sentiment, low on specificity. Let me say that I'm here for the REAL stuff, the crooked boutonniere, the tiny strands of hair that the wind has blown across your face or the way your Mom watches from the edge of the dance floor while you dance with your dad.
I should also tell you that we'll be the best of friends - cute but pretty shallow if I can't back it up. Instead, know that I'll probably cry while you're dancing with your dad and I'll be cheering you on and stalking your Instagram for your first day of college pics, along with your dorm room and whether or not you got in the sorority that you pledged.
Oh, yea, let's not forget the cliche, "your story is beautiful and deserves to be captured." Well, technically it does BUT I want to catch those in-between moments. The candid moments and not just the everyone looking at the camera smiling. I want help you see the beauty in what might otherwise feel like another Friday afternoon at the park with your kids.

i love to garden but i kill everything that i plant. my yard looks amazing up until mid june and then i give up and let it die. every year i pledge to do better.
we love to travel. we spent two weeks in california, Nevada and Arizona a few years ago and it was epic.
